Picasso
Picasso was a lone male when we was surrendered here about 3
years ago. He was missing one eye and was clearly neglected. He was
scared, his hair was dull and he had Mange. Tonya, our piggie parent who
has helped us with special needs pigs, immediately fell in love with him
and took him home. He blossomed quickly and became so attached to Tonya
that he would go running into her arms.
About 18 months ago Picasso became very ill. He was
diagnosed with hypercalcemia due to a lymphoma in his abdomen. We thought
we would lose him. We began sub-q fluids and he bounced back.
Many, many times. But this past weekend he developed some irreversible
problems that would cause him to suffer needlessly. He was helped to move
on to the Rainbow Bridge, where he was reunited with his love Lilly.
